Suitability for diving

Suitability for diving

As a recreational diver, you must meet certain health requirements. You can find out whether a medical examination is required before taking part in dives by filling out the so-called medical statement / declaration of health status (see below). If you answer certain questions with YES, we require it It is mandatory to have a medical certificate from you that you are fit to dive. If you can answer the “critical questions” with NO, it is up to you whether you want to have an examination carried out. We generally recommend that all divers who want to dive regularly have a diving suitability examination carried out regularly (regularly = under 18 years and over 40 years: once per year / between 18 and 40 years: every 3 years). Safety First! Please read the Medical Statement carefully and note the information on page 1 at the bottom.
