The iac Dive Leader course takes your theoretical and practical skills to the highest level. It's your entry point into professional diving and will provide you with all the knowledge you need to safely lead dive groups.

Course content:

You'll learn how to lead groups, avoid problems, and handle difficult situations safely and effectively. The focus is on supporting other divers, for which a high degree of personal confidence is a key prerequisite.

This course includes the apnea exercises 10m deep dive, 40m distance dive and 60 sec. time dive.

Course duration: 4 sessions of 8 hours each

• 2 dives indoor diving center (1 appointment)
• 4 dives outdoor sea base (2 dates)
• 1 apnea unit
• 4 theory units of 2 hours each (theory: partly self-study)
• Final test

We conduct open water dives at Fühlinger See (Cologne) or at the lake in Widdauen (Leverkusen). There is a €15 entry fee per day for the lake base (paid on-site). You are responsible for your own transportation.

You will receive further information regarding the meeting point etc. after registration.

Upon completion of the course, you will be a certified dive group leader and receive the internationally recognized iac Dive Leader (RSTC) certification. Optionally, you can also obtain the CMAS*** certification from CMAS Germany (additional cost: €59.90). Includes:

• Complete quality rental equipment (including ABC equipment)
• Entrance to the indoor diving center
• Certification fees
• Brevet (diving certificate in card format by mail) & eCard (digital card)

To gain more diving experience or take your skills to a higher level, you can join the D4L Club or take additional specialty courses.
