This course is your introduction to diving!

The DIN/ISO compliant and internationally recognized training entitles you to dive to a depth of up to 20 m worldwide.

The OWD - Open Water Diver is your introduction to diving. In this course you will learn all the skills you need to dive independently anywhere in the world, down to water depths of 20m.

Course duration: 4 sessions of 4 hours each

Theory training: After registering, you will receive access to e-learning. This will help you prepare for the course easily. During the appointments in the indoor diving center, the basic topics will be discussed again in class, any questions will be answered and the theory test will be completed (30 MP questions).

Practical training: (7 dives) With a pool depth of 20m and a water temperature of 26°C, our indoor center offers the perfect environment for professional diving training. You will complete the practical training on 4 dates:

Date 1: Indoor training 4 hours / 1 dive, theory discussionDate 2: Indoor training 4 hours / 2 divesDate 3: Indoor training 4 hours / 2 dives, theory exam

Date 4: Open water training 4 hours / 2 dives

We carry out the final open water dives at Fühlinger See (Cologne). Plus €15 entrance fee per day for the lake base (paid on site). You will have to make your own way there. You will receive further information about the meeting point etc. after booking.

• E-learning access to the diving association for preparation
• Complete quality rental equipment (including ABC equipment)
• Including entry to the indoor diving center
• Personal diving logbook
• Certification fees
• Brevet: Diving certificate as eCard (digital certification by email and in the IAC account)

The Junior OWD entitles children and young people aged 10 to 14 to accompanied dives in water depths of up to 12 m. From the age of 15, the Junior OWD automatically becomes an "adult OWD".
